I am a huge Facebook whore.
Huge.
A few days back I found myself pondering why and how I have become so addicted to it. I post so much, and I use it far more than I use Gmail or anything else on the web at this point. But why, Ian, why? What is the big draw?
Well, there are many reasons and I could (and might) devote a whole blog post to that, but as I pondered it dawned on me that my primary motivation in using Facebook so much is that honestly I LOVE to write. I love it. And I love it even more when people enjoy what I write (because I am also an attention whore? Maybe...), even when what I write is merely a status update or a comment on whatever.
Which lead me to realize it's time I finally start a blog. I've always wanted to start blogging, but never did because <blah blah reasons blah.>
So here it is, my first ever blog post.
PS: Suck it, Facebook.
PPS: Fuck, I have to use Facebook to get people to read this. Damnit
